    Tip to avoid travellers stomach

The idea behind drinking Coke to avoid a stomach bug is simply because it’s hard to fake a carbonation effect. Hence, you’re not drinking dirty water that’s been put into a water bottle to be resold. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Favourite food places

Terminal 21 BKK is the best mall food court I've ever eaten at. I've seen it ranked on best mall food courts in the world. And you can get two entrees plus drink for less than 100 baht. There's a reason it's *always* packed. Hopefully the Pattaya one will live up to this.
  4. Exactly. Apple supported the iPhone 5 for 5 years. The iPhone 6 will be supported another year as well most likely. Don’t know where people are getting this 3-4 years stuff from, other than making it up. No one is forcing anyone to purchase any new phone, and if someone does then it’s not my place to question their spending habits. All phone companies release new models every 12-18 months but only Apple seems to get shit for it. If Android wasn’t such a garbage OS I might consider jumping over. 5. I'm interested in a new Apple Watch as mine is ancient at this point and barely holds a charge. Having said that, the price of the Apple Watch 3 has gone down significantly, so I might just go for that. I bought an iPhone X back in February after my previous phone crapped out and I'm very happy with it. I've never missed the home button or the headphone jack. Honestly don't see what all the complaining was about. This is the best phone I've ever owned, and certainly the best iPhone since the 5S, which was an absolute beast. Was not a fan of the 6 or 7.
  6. It is but it's been closed for renovation for something like a year. Should reopen sometime in 2019. I think in February or March.

    New Plaza Fish N Chips

Living here I personally like to have a variety in my food. This means Thai, Italian, American, etc at various times. However, on holiday I agree with you! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Body 2 Body Massage By Hung Ladyboy?

Plenty of massage places on Soi Honey and Soi Chayapoon with ladyboys. My advice would just be to ask the girls if they can do what you want. They’re usually quite accommodating. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. Yeah their pizza is awful. Go around the corner to Volare for better pizza. Baku has good pizza on the menu too. I refuse to eat Pizza Italy. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Usa ...sim Cards

Cell phone contracts in America are an enormous pain in the ass. Wish it worked like it does in Thailand. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I always pay a hundred baht to get to my hotel from the Pattaya bus station on a motorcycle. Easy peesy Japaneesy. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Cost of living in Thailand

I think this is the magic number. Allows you to have plenty of fun and save some money for a rainy day as well. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Grottino Pizzeria

Been here a few times with Aprilbr and Streetwalker. The food is indeed excellent. I've had the pizza and the lasagna and both were top notch. Naklua has some great restaurants for sure.

    Where to eat

Just a quick update on food. I tried a few new places and some old favorites over the past week or so. There's a wings place on the corner of LK Metro and Diana (sorry I forgot the name) that I thought was underwhelming. I ordered the mixed bones and boneless wings dinner but it came out all bones. The breading wasn't really great. Decent prices if somewhat high for the quality. I tried iRovers breakfast on recommendation of a BM and I thought it was really good, better than Continental even. I went back to Jolly Friar and for some reason my fish and chips dinner didn't come with the excellent mushy peas. I don't know if they were sold out by then or they stopped serving them together. Went back to The Sportsman's Pub on soi 13 and it was ok, not as good as last time. I also tried the curry place on Buakhow that some BMs have been going to and thought it was excellent. Oh, and I tried the salty stir fried ants courtesy of the girls at New Bar. They were ok -- wouldn't order them on my own though lol.

    Where to eat

Jolly Friar on Soi Lengkee has one of the best fish and chips I've ever had. Nicky's is great for Sunday roast. Kiss Food is a good option for late night Thai (they're open 24 hours). Bronx Pizza on Soi Diana has good pizza. Steak & Co. on Soi Lengkee has good food too and also serves craft beer. Edit: The Continental on Soi Xcite for breakfast too -- excellent breakfast there!
