Good!

Currently staying at the Target Regency GH opposite the Chaba Hut Resort; my 2nd stay here. Deluxe rooms 450 baht superior 600, with discounts for monthly stays. The owner is a really nice Malaysian fellow. 79 baht well drinks all day. Attached massage parlor with in-call service. Accepts credit cards. Next door is a good restaurant with an excellent English breakfast. There are 2 sets of rooms now I'm in a new deluxe room facing Buakow. The back rooms face a small beer bar complex and I was told it's nosier than mine.

Pros:
back door entrance (no pun intended LOL)
large room with large window
fast 8mps WiFi
room safe
locking cabinet (great for storing notebooks)
quiet AC
DVD
small empty fridge
Soi Buakow location with 2-way songthaews for easy barhopping
Pook's Swan is only 150 meters away
Soi Buakow Market is just 50 meters away
no gawking tour groups on Soi Buakow only mongers LOL

Cons:
street noise
curtains don't block all the light (I hang clothes to help darken the room)
no cupboard for hanging clothes (new rooms only)
box spring mattress only
every other day cleaning
it takes awhile for the water to heat up

Excellent!

I stay there when I can't get a room on Soi 6. 555. Very accurate report.
Although, I might add, the traffic right in front of it on Soi Buakow is
also decidedly a con.

I checked out Sutus Court on Soi Lengkee 450 baht for a room half the size of the one I have with a small window-looked like a jail cell to me - but at least it was quiet and has a pool LOL.

Somewhere where the curtains block out the light.
That has cupboards to hang clothes.
Has a comfortable mattress.
Daily cleaning.
Good hot water.
Relatively quiet.

Cheers DK :D

I sent email to the owner about LB policy few months ago and more or less he told me I can bring elephant in my room to play with so... I guess next time I'm in Pattaya I might try this place. I have no problem with light since I wake up at 6-8AM, I have no clothes to hange only t-shirts and jeans, and when I go to sleep no street noise can wake me up. :Angel With Star:
