Hello Fellow BM's!

After reading about all the std's and how to get em and treat em, I still have one primary fear! I am not too concerned about the clap and GC (both treatable at the moment) or even HIV as I am definitely planning to adhere to the "bag it" theory when doing the deed. My primary concern is the foreplay, kissing and sucking in particular and getting herpes of the mouth and lips! I would even accept herpes on my dick (penalty of playing) if it so happens that I got it but will do my best not to.

So what am I really asking for here? Well….

1:Since herpes is mostly contracted with contact with open sores on either person, my question is, what kind of check list (visual or verbal) do you guys do before engaging in some foreplay with the girls (pre short time) and do you guys ask them upfront some tactful (respectful) questions about it? I really would like to avoid making the LB uncomfortable or disrespect her in any way but this is P4P and she must have gotten some questions from other peeps as well! Is inspecting the LB thoroughly accepted by her?

2: Some members mention the idea of mouthwash before and after but they only mention themselves doing it. I Iike that idea but would also like them to do it as well (pre short time). So do they do the "wash/rinse" before taking hold of another monger, can you tell it on their breath or can you request it without getting them offended?!!!!!!! Is it effective? Do you carry a bottle with you while mongering (LOL)?

3: Is it wrong to think that a LB is safer in the inspection aspect than a GG of BG? I am a first timer for a LB and hope I have a great first time experience with them! I am still struggling with my "wanting this" as I have been "girl only" all my life! But anyways…… I figure that since there play area is outwards verses a deep dark p**ssy, it would be easier to spot the herpes sores and the like before engaging in going forward?

As you can tell a paranoid newbie I am, but as I read the trip reports, I can see myself short timing 3 or 4 times a day (cum or no cum) just to experience different cocks and girls! So if you guys can give me some "DETAILED" responses back to the chatter and techniques , I would be very grateful!

Also, thanks very much for all the advice, trip reports and recommendations! I have never been to LOS and my first thoughts of the place would have gotten me slapped, kicked or worst! I have much learned the in's and out's and still learn something new everyday that will not only add to my pleasures, but also keep "intact" some respect and kindness to the working girls there!

There is no way to guard against it as you could kiss a person who could be in a dormant phase. The chances of every lb you meet having it are high as they have probably slept with over 10 mongers already if not 100. So you can obviously guard against it if you see it but even the best defense is fallible at best. Also quite a few lb's have acne and pimples although their pictures are heavily photoshopped so.. you will have to decide after seeing it in the flesh.

Best of luck.

To put it in perspective and not picking on the city its estimated that 25% of the population of New York have Genital Herpes. The so I would suggest that its part of the risk should we be intimate with anyone anywhere. Any body got the stats for Bangkok, Phuket or Pattaya sex workers. I would expect it to be higher. So whats my point ?? well , were probably fucked.

IMO, partaking in P2P sex is a crap shoot. There's even risk with non-P2P sex. Unless you wear a full body condom(I'm working on it) you take a chance. Then again, the full body condom could tear and you might be fucked anyway. Some activities increase the risk, some lower the risk. I take some risks. It's a risk I'm willing to take. If I get a STD, I know it'll be my own fault. My main risk is oral sex without a condom.

Thanks for the replies so far but as for prevention, I know it's a crap shoot, but I also want to know what strategies the mongers out there are doing to get a look without offending the LB! I read a thread where the LB offered to get tested and got a pass from DR. My ultimate choice (if I had one) would be to barfine a doctor, take him LT and then have him test them and give me the green light! LOL I know that even that would be a crap shoot but hey at least it would calm me worries!

Thanks again and all replies and advice will be greatly appreciated!

I Look for sores or anything out of the ordinary anywhere on a LB or CG. But there's only so much you can do.

Or only have sex in a monogamous relationship with someone who has never been in a sexual relationship previously. I think that's called marriage - and comes with it's own risks!

just your luck, if you do get herpes, you can get either type 1 or type 2, i cannot remember which one of them is cureable, but one stays in your system for life.
sorry if i have put you off.
also if you get crabs, rub sugar into your pubic hair, as it rots their teeth :Rolling:

just bag up and you will be fine, and if you want to blow them off with out a french letter, just take a good look at the penis to make sure there are no sores on it, and it looks healthy.
try not to worry too much, just get out there and give those lb's some fine loving :Single Rose:

Don't think like that.. some are notorious for trying to renegotiate.. happened to me with the walking street variety and another lb who was the ex flame of a prestigious BM. Just saying.. never let your guard down.. not with the lb, not with the diseases and try and have fun! :)

Herpes is mostly contagious when the person has "sores". Those being either ulcers or vesicles (blisters) on their gentials or around and in the mouth. They can be asymptomatic and still be contagious, but this is not very common and less likely if they have had it for more than a year. Check for those and it should reduce your risk. Remeber to check the bottom of the shaft, base of the penis and around the balls and anus. Always bag up. Be extra sure to check for 'cold sores' around their mouths if you bbbj, as it can transfer i.e. infect your penis if they have herpes.

Herpes has two virus types, 1 and 2. Either can give you oral or genital herpes. Both are INCURABLE. Some ppl get a flare up once and it never comes back, others get flare up's frequently i.e. every month or two, and others everything inbetween.

Neither Herpes 1 or Herpes 2 is curable. Once you've got it, you've got it.

Also, having lesions visible is by far the easiest way of transmitting it, or contracting it... BUT... some people are what we call asymptomatic shedders, and will give you herpes even when they're not having an outbreak!

If you have oral herpes, which is HSV1, or cold sores, then there is some literature that suggests that this confers SOME protection against contracting HSV2..... You're also less likely to get it elsewhere, but it still happens, and you still need to take precautions.

I wonder what the role for prophylactic antivirals might be?
