Nice looking place and good location. I would be interested in finding out more about it or hearing a review.

Stayed there long ago. I wasn't hunting LBs at that time (shame on me). But I have seen LBs going in and out with other borders.

One thing to mention that they used to charge joiner fee for more than one guest.

With what i have read on various forums is it's very girl freindly and no joiner fee but i have seen no quote with ladyboy and grand hotel in the same sentence ;) So i will wait untill i get to pattaya and check it out... Someone did say it caters for northern asain tourists... dunno how true this is but loaction is awsome, rooms and costs are fine for various budgets.

Then you stayed there really long time ago.
I stayed there about 11 months ago and never had to pay joiner fee even for two or three LBs same time.
Grand hotel is very LB friendly to my experience.
Here are some pictures taken last January in the room where I stayed - 604.
Very nice view from the balcony by the way

AE great photos and info on the hotel. I'm going there in 24 days and i'm even happier seeing its LB friendly.

Good job mate :Big Hug:

Just one question, will the taxi drop me off on walking street or can he come to the hotel, Soi 14 looks quite small?

Soi 14 is accesable from either walking street or 2nd road... you will be suprised what they fit down those small soi's.... if you do have to walk it would probably take you less than 30 seconds.

Cheers IHM, 30 seconds is good for me. I'm always supprised what they can fit into some of the soi's.

Yes, janou
The taxi will drop you off exactly at the enter to hotel.
I took a taxi at the (Suwa… whatever it’s called) airport in Bangkok on my arrival and just said to the driver – Pattaya, Grand Hotel.
Make sure you make a deal with the driver beforehand. I agreed on 2000 Bahts, but there are much cheapper ways to get to Pattaya – I found later.
While staying in the hotel – you will never need a taxi, because you are staying in the middle of all the actions.
But if you’ll want to go to Jomtien beech (and I think it’s a must) – go to the left from your hotel for a change (10 meters to the right would be the notorious Walking street), after about 100 meters you will find the 2-d Street with taxi (baht bus), just stop it that goes to the right side of you and after about 10-15 minutes get off and pay 20 bahts to the driver.

I stayed there 1st week in January. Nice hotel, a little dated but excellent location. Stayed in the deluxe seaview room (floor 9) which has great views across Pattaya Bay towards the Pattaya City sign. You can see Walking St quite well. Didn't take any LB back but didn't get any hassle from the staff when bring girls back. No joiners fee, the reception staff never asked for the girls ID but I noticed other people getting the girls to hand over their ID.

Would stay there again because it is so well located for Walking St & 2nd Road. If you're picking girls up from around Walking St it's really handy for getting back to, so you can get down to business.
