Maybe, but I have heard from surgeons that there is a fundamental rule "Never touch the pancreas" ... basically if anything goes wrong with the pancreas, you are screwed. It is the center of the insulin system, and insulin, insulin like growth factors, and the insulin complex that regulates cell growth (and cancer). Interestingly, the one place in the body where you have similar cells is on the foreskin ... go figure
