Anyone know if Lek Hotel in Pattaya is LB friendly?
I know they are fine with GGs, but I know some hotels draw the line at LB's.

:Cry 1:

Thanks!

WTTB,

Hopefully someone can help you out on this. I know the hotel you are talking about. I would be surprised if there was a problem.

If there are no responses, you could try emailing ThaiHotelDiscounts.com The owner is a farang and is a member on the board. He is SUPERB at taking care of your bookings. I genuinely mean this, I have no benefits from saying this. I have booked with him for my next trip and he was excellent. He may know the answer to your query or offer a great price on this, or another (possibly better VFM hotel)

This is kinda what I'm figuring, but I supposed it would not hurt to double check.

In the past, I've generally stayed at the Penthouse, but that place has gotten grottier every year.

And I think the owner is going insane....
Last time I stayed there, I received a loud warning for bringing in a small bag of stuff from the 7-11.
Apparently guests are only allowed to consume from the overpriced mini-bar! :Electric Shock:

The last information I heard was that the rules changed recently and you are now charged a joiner fee if the girls/lb did not come from one of the two go-go's associated with the hotel!
If this is true, I will NEVER stay there again! (Not that I was likely to anyway.)

I've stayed once at the Lek, and had no problems (did not bring home any LB's however...)
If the Lek is not LB friendly, it's not necessarily a deal killer as I generally go for "dine-in" instead of "take-out" :P

At any rate, thanks for the information.

Yeah, I've been lurking now for a couple of months.

Finally registered last month, and got the nerve to post yesterday!

I'm a regular reader and semi-regular poster on a couple of other Thai nightlife boards, and it's nice to find a place where I can read info and post about Ladyboy topics.
I know some of the others I'm on would likely "chase me out of town" for posting any questions on the topic.

Keep up the good work here!

Yes for sure the Lek is LB friendly. They have two wings an older less expensive section (800bht approx) and a newer building (about 1200bht i think). Its not a bad place at all. The staff is very friendly and there is no joiner fee. I usally stay across the soi at the Dynasty and use all the Leks facilities, pool, internet, breakfast buffet. I hope this is helpful.

Have stayed at Lek a few times but I think you are better off staying somewhere on soi Buakhao as I found you get a better room for your money.
