Although the guy went by his own choice, this is always difficult for the family.
I hope he left some kind of explanation and farewell note for them.
Personally, I'm a bit surprised it was not more of a mess, I'd expect more of a .357

Just glad he didnt shoot the Thai guy first as some of these crazies do.
Very upsetting for his family though to know it can be seen on the internet, people that commit suicide are selfish because those that are left have to deal with it but I guess they arn't thinking rationally.

It might be abit bad thinking this but I just hope this guy didn't decide to end his life because of a failed relationship with a bargirl.

I cant help but wonder the same about a bargirl but I have to disagree with little one can do about ending their own life when they have made the decision. The feelings one goes through is based on hope and the complete loss of it results in suicidal thinking, nobody really wants to die, they usually do not see a way out of the pain. Sometimes a simple conversation with someone is enough to get them through that moment so they can get the help they need. I know of situations where people have hung themselves in the wish to die and as they hung there struggling for life they realized they really didnt want to die. That is from survivors, the others dont live to tell. Another jumped from the Golden Gate Bridge, stood on the edge and wished someone would just tell him to get down and offer him help, nobody did. He jumped, and on his way down, he said to himself "I dont want to die". He lived to tell his tale. Many can be helped. At least this person did not suffer from it.

Trans, it depends on where the bullet was placed it he put the gone straight back in his mouth then there is less matter to expand the bullet resulting in less damage, the distance also comes into play as well. The .357 has been glamorized by Hollywood being a bit more than it is, not to take away from it, it is a large caliber. But I get what your sayin.
I am glad nobody else was hurt upstairs or on the other side of the wall.

I won a prize in pistol shooting and another in rifle when I was 13 and never got back to shooting since then.
Well, except a bit of training with the FA MAS during my short military time.
What scares me in guns is the other people that have them...
