I was looking at the Secrets website and looking at thier hotel and they look pretty nice, the rates look decent too. Just wondering if anyone has stayed there or knows anything about it.

I am tired of Penthouse Hotel, I loved the location, but the rooms are so dark and dingy.........................

it's owned by the guys who run a "straight" forum.

I don't know if it's LB-unfriendly, but I suspect you will definitely feel out of place bringing back a LB

There are plenty (and I mean plenty) of other options in Patts - Pattaya Bay Resort, Dynasty Inn, Areca Lodge, LK Renaissance and Pavillion etc., etc. Check them out too

Just a wee bit of info... I was checking the place out 2 visits ago. Not really all that impressed with the place to be honest (the club, not the hotel). I walked in and the music was so so.. The place was half empty and I waited a good 5 minutes for a beer, when I got the beer, it tasted off. That put me off straight away and then the atmosphere was pretty shit too, the girls didnt come over at all and they all looked bored..... So I headed for the nearest lb joint and had a blast.

If that's how the bar was operating.... I'd hate to see the bloody hotel.

Its good for staying.
They don't say that you can't bring LBs but you are definitely going to have some head turns when you do.

Its LB freindly and you can have LB's in the bar with you as well, all treated with respect never had a problem, had Ball with me from Ezy bar for a late night sessions till after 4am me my friend and the bar staff drinking when the doors were closed.

Not a problem there with LB's the food is good and the rooms clean and spacious, drink is a bit pricey as its a go-go type place.

Thanx irishwilly. Good to know because I've booked Secrets earlier this spring because it looked fresh, the location and the decent price. Never thought about if the place was LB friendly or not. But now I know more.

I believe the bar portrays itself to be a completely "nonaggressive" bar. I was there a couple of times myself and it is intended to be a "bar & restaurant" where you can enjoy your drink/meal. If you like companionship, you need to ask them direct or have a service staff ask for you.

I personally wasn't impressed either but mind you it was based on one visit and I will give it another chance especially considering it is ok with LBs.

Secrets is a nice Bar/Restaurant, if you want to spend some time there.
I have been there many times and was never disappointed.
However, I have never taken a LB there because some of my regular GGs are from that Bar.
But as I hear from others, you can take a LB there and not a problem with that.

They have no elevator, most likely you will be on the third floor.The stair case is steep. If you trust your lb, you can just scoot up the stairs. You walk in the door and the stairway is on your left. The receptionist does'nt give a shit .

Thanks for the positive review. I have been considering this place for my trip later this year and it looked good on their website. I know there are tons of options but this place seemed to be decent enough for the price with a good location. Unless someone comes up with a truly horrible review, I will probably spend part of my vacation here, with maybe the last couple nights in more of a top end location. Can anyone tell me what its like in Pattaya in May or June or July. That is the time frame I am trying to work on, Thanks!
