My experience with applying for a visa is only with my beloved lao girl Jan.
The requirements for the Schengen visa(Germany, for 72 Days)are the same as for Thais. The main point is always to proof a good reason to come back. NO-NO is a bar working girl known her for some days or weeks.

Will apply again for one next year during summertime.

i tried getting norm a tourist visa to come here a year ago from philippines, but it got refused using the u.s.s.a. govt's excuse of "not enough proof of return to home country"...yet this is the same u.s. state dept. that gave visa's to the 9/11 hijackers, quadaffy, the"underwear bomber", and the iranian prez.. and the immigration dept. wonders why people have to sneak in just to be with family. ...homophobic bastids
 Best post I've read in a long time on here. This really sums it up as this is very frustrating for people who just want to visit and experience other cultures. Why are supposed modern free countries so close minded?

Not to mention the number of fake marriages being used to bring in more and more people in "legally". The going rate is $15,000 and then after a few years they can get fake married again and make more money. That's going on at record pace in Florida, but I can't bring in a LB because according to Thailand and USA she's a "man"? :Angry (With Teeth):

Get one from Laos, they are considered women, but maybe only if they get the full chop.

Are you saying that LBs from Laos have "Female" on their I.D. cards and are considered officially female by the USA?

Miami guy,

I know a Laos LB and she told me that because she's from Laos she is considered a Female on her ID. But then she's had a full sex change, I'm not sure if that makes a difference or not.

I live in Singapore and have a LB from Phuket coming to stay with me for 4 days. She is arriving on Thursday so I am keeping my fingers crossed that she will get through immigration with no trouble. There are so many LB's from LOS here in Singapore so I think it should be no problem. They can stay for 30 days. It was a bit weird booking her flight when I had to put "Mr" on the passenger booking :Smile 3: :Smile 3:

i have tried at the US embassy a couple of times and the party line is that they have to protect us from ourselves. so they fall back on a law that was written during the Korean war, that as our government it is their duty to make us understand that we are not really in love, just far from home and infatuated. so when the embassy staff told me that i asked him where my government was when i married that crazy b*tch from Connecticut with the great tits and who f*cked like a pro. no one protected me then.

he told me the interview was over and that i had to leave.

racist, homophobic pr*cks, one and all IMO. pencil pushers whose neglected farang wives probably packed them a sh*t lunch (because she knows he has a Thai GF) and did not kiss them goodbye for the day so they take it out on us because we are happy, they want the same, and can not have it.

have to protect us from ourselves?????????????????????????????????? :Angry (With Teeth): what a load of crap.

I'm going down the agent route later in the year.. I figure that if we collect all the documents to satistfy the authorities + more then should not be a reason we will be refused... Unless its beuraucratic.
