Hi all,

I've been visiting Pattaya for once a month for the past several months and have been staying at a variety of hotels which are usually on the higher end (Marriott). I am planning my next visit and want to make sure the following:

1. Very good internet connection (preferably free but willing to pay)
2. Clean bathrooms and beds
3. good sized beds for me and my multiple guests
4. LB friendly without joiner fees
5. TV and aircon
6. pest free (mosquitoes, ants, and roaches)

A big plus would be a jacuzzi.

Addtional nice to haves include microwave and referigerator.

Now so far, I do like the Marriott because of location, service, lb friendly w/o joiner fees. The security guards all know me as the guy with 2 different girls everynight. Minus include expensive breakfast, internet, and overall rate is fairly high for Pattaya.

I've also stayed at Siam Bayshore which is a nice hotel with 1000 baht joiner fees so this hotel is off my list. I've stayed at the Tim Boutique which is not as modern as Marriott but is clean with ok breakfast. Internet connection is terrible however even paying for it. Jacuzzi only fits one maybe 2.

I am looking into the following but have reservations and hoping some of you can share some light:

Penthouse - seems great from a sex fantasy room but heard not too clean and has roaches (plz confirm). Althought LB friendly, do they care if I bring guests from other bars?
Galaxy Suites - has jacuzzi room but heard small. Web pictures are done "too" well so it's not as good as the pictures. Plus can be noisy but great location. LB friendly?
Secrets - bare bones room without Jacuzzi option. No elevator. LB friendly?
Secrets Villa - this is an option that I might be interested in if I could get a 2 bedroom luxury condo/suite and have my own parties with guests...

Are there other suggestions that fit the above? I am willing to spend more to get more.

Penthouse - roaches - yes sometimes, not always. You can bring guests from other bars, not a problem.
Galaxy Suites - Small but I think the Jacuzzi room is big enough.
Secrets - Yes LB friendly.
Secrets Villa - Never stayed.

This is a nice room and over 44 square meters without the balcony and shower room.

I am personally a big fan of the Pattaya Bay Resort. Internet is pretty good, I had to use it for daily Skype video conferences and never had a problem in the room or on the roof eating breakfast. Staff does a good job of keeping room clean, and will throw some extra towels and water your way if you take care of them with a small tip. Beds in the deluxe are king sized (check out my Gaijin in Pattaya reports for room pics). They advertise on this site, so very LB friendly and never charged me a joiner fee. TV has cable, aircon is cold, and never saw a bug. Staying there for the third time on my 30 day trip 30 July to 28 August.
