Having checked a number of visa websites, the max numbers of days i can spend in Thailand is 30days.

question: did the Thai government not increase this period during the troubles earlier this year?

Question: if i want to stay for a couple of weeks longer what id the best way to go about it? BUS TO THE BORDER TO GET AN EXTRA 15 DAYS?

any advise ?

Best advice get u self a toursit visa before u go from Thai embassy in hull if u plan on staying longer than 30 days it not much for a 60 day i think it £25 Last time i went in July last year it may have gone up since then,

Beter option is the 1 year non immigrant visa if u plan on staying a while there ie3 months or so ;) ;) they are easy to get from uk embassy plus it only take 3-5 days to get u passport back from them once u post it off

All info is there dont bother with the 15 day extention as after 2 or 3 visa runs they may refuse u entry as they are getting a bit funny with the visa extention rules

Thanks Gaz,

It's just around the corner from me, very useful for future visits.

Unfortunately i have just booked and will fly tomorrow PM , so i will just stay the 30 days.
