All American bar @ The Avenue advertises 'stuffed' handmade burgers.  You can select 3 of your own ingredients from a long list, or have one of their pre-selected menu.  Haven't tried it yet, will get pics and review if I do.   :Army Salute:

Pastrami on Rye (Jomtien 2nd Road and Theppisit) has burgers.  Haven't had one of those either, but their sandwiches and deep dish pizza are recommended.

And how's the pastrami on rye? Do they have Rueben's too?  put some horse radish on there, too and your forehead starts sweating

Great with Bloody Mary's

The reuben is damn tasty, as is the beef & cheddar :)

Even tried the reuben burger and that is yummy.   It's not the cheapest burger but the meat is good.

On the opposite end of the spectrum, was looking for a quick bite and passed one of those ubiquitous burger stalls on soi Diana. Hmmmmm. 95b for a burger and fries... not bad even if it is pretty crappy. Then the chef says "Oh that's for small burger, big burger 220b!" Talk about taking the piss. I was like, "for that money, I can go get a real one somewhere." Dunno what they're thinking, asking that much for that crap.

That said - where's the best English Brekkie in town? Bilabong on Soi LK Metro used to have a great one. Found another just across from there, but looking for better. And not the ones with any of that hot dog sausage...

And where's the best pizza, and Mexican, and...

Bean meaning to start a thread on this.

I have only been to oz burgers in rompho market. But it was awesome. Never had beetroot on burger before that and understood I have missed out all my life.
But I think the owner has sold the one in rompho now and only have the one in soi Diana left.

For me it has to be the gary burger named after the customer that had it made , now sadly gone it came from a evening stand right next to fantasy lounge well worth the 100 baht price , best thing was you could drop in fantasy for a fill and a munch then walk ten feet and do the same , here's a clip of the burger being made .

Never tried the one in Patts, but I just went to the Hard Rock cafe in Hong Kong and one of the best burgers I've ever eaten in my life. I imagine it will be expensive, but it will be damn worth it.

Another good choice is to get the Chicken Burger at the Blue Healer on Soi Lengkee. I'll take a beef burger over a chicken burger any day, but I'll make an exception for the one at The Blue Healer. It puts any red meat beef burger to shame.
