Haemorrhoids!![/size]

Apologies! Of course, you are correct, Devman. Very unlike me, I had inadvertently crossed over to to the Americanism because the OP's original spelling was just a basic phonetic interpretation. Anyway, much simpler to just call them PILES ( or Father Giles).

Haven't had an issue with the roids in years. When I last did, Preparation H was my friend-:) lasted a few months and my doc mentioned a minor surgical procedure, but it sounded major to me. Just the thought of that seemed to clear the issue on it's own-:)

I usually get them really bad after traveling a long way (stress I guess?). Last one I had was flying from the states to BKK. The pharmacist gave me some pills to reduce swelling and pain. No idea what they were (they weren't acetomophin) but I looked them up online and sure enough plenty of people with hemmorhoids had been taking them. Worked like a charm!

I had them bad in 1990...doc brought in a couple of nurses to show them what a bad case looks like... talk about embarrassing! Decided to operate with a scalpel and it took 2 months to heal... I haven't had another one in 27 years..haha

I've had both internal and external. A good doc will treat internal with a rubber band procedure that lops any excess off. External I've had the laser procedure. Fuck me, that hurt like hell. Yeah, 2 months to recover.

LL Cool Dave makes a great point, which I had no idea about until recently and has helped me tremendously. We are made to squat when we go to bathroom. Try a stool or step to elevate your legs. If you find yourself without either, then place your shoulders close to your knees. Serious.

Yes, I take it serious. I even bought a plastic step that fits around your toilet. The squatting thing has been great for me.

I am being serious here.

From my university days until about 5 years ago (45) i eat basically non stop crap.

No breakfast cereal/porridge, hardly any vegetables and roughage, basically indian/chinese/fish and chips.

You get the picture.

Then i got an anal fissure. A small tear in my anal lining.

It was agony. Could not sit down for long periods. Pain everytime i went to loo etc.

I then started eating bran flakes and orange juice every morning and eating a lot better.

Over time things seemed to have healed. Unfortunately don't eat great when i am in Thailand.

Do not mess about. Eat roughage, vegetables etc and make it easy on your system and backside.

I have one close friend who had an anal abscess and had to have an emergency operation while on holiday in Germany.

Well it's been 10 weeks since my surgery...bleeding has stopped...pain had ceased...just a very slight touch of discomfort when I wipe my butt after a toilet visit...that willg get better soon. I am now to drink Metamucil every morning...and a vile sweet drink before dinner every night...all ok

I have one close friend who had an anal abscess and had to have an emergency operation while on holiday in Germany.

I had the abscess 6 years ago and pray every day I never have to feel that pain again. 3 procedures to get everything cleaned up. Pure misery. First procedure was screwed up by a general surgeon. I never felt quite right until second procedure one year later using a specialist.

Doc that fixed me with second procedure suggested I do third and glad I did, but crikey that was awful pain. He tells me afterwards that it is one of the most painful procedures - as painful as birth. That pain is like how you described it - pain no matter what you did.

Btw, if you get internal hemorrhoids, then know that can cause abscess. Along with stress, diet, all the other crap.

Best bet is to not let it become an issue.

Best to try and calm them with creams and a little shove back in. Feels good anyway to shove em in. Patience pays off. Give em time to cure before visiting a quack for extensive surgery. Staples will rip up the ladyboys cock for sure. Horrible thought

After a really long dehydrating flu I had what I thought was the worst hemmarrhoid attack ever, after 3weeks of it hurting all day and night, not just on the loo,I bit the bullet and went to the doctor as I thought from googling it might be an anal abscess , which could turn septic. And it was, doc gave me some drugs, and a few days later I could sit again. So if it hurts all the time, go to the doc.
