Problems with my Samsung J5.

Has Dual SIM.

Internal memory is small at 8 Gb.

Tried to move applications to SD card.

Cannot move memory hungry Apps like LINE

Local shop is offering Wiko View Prime at 7,900 Baht

Dual SIM

Internal memory is 64 Gb

SD card up to 128 Gb

Dual camera

Alternative is a Galaxy S8 at 23,000 Baht

Any information on Wiko phones?

Company is French backed.

Tried Google and seems only in Asian market so no reviews on UK/US/Aus.

Interested in any feedback.

Have you considered the S7 edge, still a classy phone.  Trouble with the S8 is the fingerprint scanner is to close to the camera, its not the perfect phone its made out to be.

Sagem used to manufacture mobile phones, but the only French manufacturer I can think of presently is Alcatel. They are a huge industrial concern.

Google to confirm but Will I believe just rebadges Chinese built phones from Gionee or one of those second tier manufacturer. Not xiaomi or meizu, but a lesser known brand. Can't compare to an S8, with the price it will undoubtedly be a different class of phone with a slower processor and worse camera. If you just need a basic phone then get the Wiko but if you care about games apps and taking quality photos with your phone I would go Samsung or an Opportunity, if you want to save a little.

Hi Tony.      Sounds interesting.    My antique Nokia is now  losing battery charge too fast , so I know I need new batt at least.  The Wiko sounds good.    And almost a buy one get two free at that price?                                                Ha ha   I dont need to show off with an Iphone.     LBs just steal them  so whats the point?           Cheers             :iPod:

Fingers crossed, I’ve never had an iPhone stolen, because when it’s locked with your password or fingerprint, it’s useless to a thief.
If I had the cash, I’d go for Samsung or iPhone , tried and tested.

If you actually have the right equipment and software and liquid nitrogen you can break into them.  The Liquid nitrogen cools down the phone and ultimately the CPU so it slows down the booting up sequence and then can be meddled with.
