1000 Baht service, called in the morning, for 1500 pic up, arrival 1445 prompt and in a Camry, all be it a slightly older model, clean and none of that nonsense spray stink in the vehicle, driver displayed good manners, no taxi attitude.
Still in the vehicle, easy flowing traffic, well behaved on the road. Will follow up once checked through at airport, so far so good.
Booked in on Line messenger, 6 min response.

Well well, my apologies, yes this is a Pattaya to Suvarnabumi Airport taxi review of PIM Pattaya Taxi.
Pick up at 1445, arrival at 1615, now too early to check in so will put this down now as time to kill.
Yes the time is extraordinary in being early, being from just behind Avenue centre second road, or there abouts.
Good road manners with a little heavy foot when appropriate, 145km/h at times.
I can confirm a true 1000Baht experience, no extra for the tolls etc.
5 Star service, response time to message, promptness of arrival, vehicle cleanliness, driver manners, driver behaviour on road. Apparently can book for an airport to Pattaya/etc also, We shall see next time.
Have read about PT taxi, and whilst searching for them bumbled onto PIM, lucky me.

A look from the masters chamber and the vehicle in question:

Just a note to check out their URL as posted above, good website for mobile devices, to the point, all info posted, no maze runner confusion and a plethora of trip choices to and from.

Does the green number plate stand for public hire?

I believe it classes them as a limo - emirates chauffeurs have these green plates and that was the response I got when I asked

Thank you for that, I am clueless to numberplate colours and only noticed once pointed out.
Cheers

Pretty sure it's private hire / hotel cars.

Just found the explanation on the net.

Here they are:

Black letters on white background: Private car or truck/bus

Blue letters on white background: Private minibusses

Green letters on white background: Private pickup trucks

Red letters on white background: Private Tuk-Tuks

Red letters on yellow background: Nationwide taxis (long distance)

Black letters on yellow background: Taxis (passenger cars) or commercial trucks/busses

Green letters on yellow background: Taxis (Tuk-Tuks)

Blue letters on yellow background: Taxis (Minibusses)

White letters on green background: Business-, tourist- and rental-service vehicles (including airport and hotel taxis)

Black letters on orange background: Small trailers, road rollers, tractors and agricultural vehicles

So baileys01 as well as asian ronster were right.
