I don't know if this subject has been covered before but I think that this is useful information.

If you want to store your Porn so that you can safely travel or just keep hidden from girlfriends or wives etc I find uploading all your filth to Xhamster is excellent.

It is completely free, you have unlimited uploads and you can keep everything totally private by password protecting it .
You also have the option of sharing content with friends or sharing publicly.
It is easy to upload etc.
I think it is safer than storing on your PC or external hard drive as they can be found and accessed.... Ask my ex wife if you don't believe me!

Upload speeds can make this a real trial when you are in places with slow asynchronous internet. USB drive with Truecrypt and a hidden partition is a lot easier.

You can put that on a 32GB micro SD card which is nearly impossible to find if concealed well and if it is found, you give the password to the safe partition that has a few harmless items, passport scan etc., in it.

Uploading it to an internetside, can be tricky.. First of all, the owner of the server gets your stuff, and secound, probably every service provider asks you in their terms of service to sighn over the copyright on the material.. No matter if you protect it with a password..

If you want to stow your stuff safely, set up your own server (with a firewall) at home, which you can access remotly.. That is the way, you can make sure, your content remains in your possession..

If you choose not to share content nobody else can see it... I have used it for several years without problem... Maybe I am naive but it hasn't let me down.... Encryption and hidden hard drives have.

It comes down to how much data it is, and what it means to you.  Wouldn't recommend public tube sites for storage.   They'll sell access to your stuff through premium upsells and copy it to their sister sites.  Nothing is free.

How many GBs / TBs are you looking to store?

Exactly. Encrypt yor hard drive. No need to upload your data to a storage you don't now where it is and who has access.

O.

Any cloud-based service would throw safety out the window in my opinion. Yes they say your privacy is protected, but let's be honest, only a matter of time before AWS, Google, Microsoft get hacked. External HD or stick is the best option.

We have seen Yahoo hacked previously so that might happen.

In that case I´d go for a USB-stick since it´s more easy to hide.

So what happens if you are stopped and found to have an encrypted device.... I would imagine that Customs would insist on viewing the content?
