I will be in Manila and Cebu this December and looking for a good hotel that is Ladyboy friendly.

In Manila, I would like to be near Shampoo Bar (on Burgos street) but not so close. I want to have girls be able to visit me without fear of being caught by the bar. Have also heard that Greenbelt area is good to be.

For Cebu, I am guessing near the Mall is the best spot.

I was going to hit Angles City and stay at the ABC but am thinking of spending more time in Cebu and possible some island hopping.

Any and all recommendations are sought.

I've stayed at three hotels in Manila and there was no problem. I think I heard once that there are some high-class hotels in Manila which will not allow them in.

I have never heard of any problem regarding Cebu.

I have heard that quite a few hotels in Angeles City will not admit them.

Most hotels in Manila and Cebu seem to be pretty relaxed about everything. Some won't even ask for her ID.

In my opinion, Manila hotels offer rather poor value for money. There are plenty of hotels close to Robinsons Shopping Mall in Cebu.

The problem in the Philippines is that, unlike in Thailand, it is practically impossible to find a hotel with a DVD player and free WiFi in the room.

Ladyboy Lover 1 I agree 100% with you.

For Angeles City, ABC and Clarkton are Ladyboy friendly. Other hotels less so. If anyone is going to Angeles, be very careful with ladyboys. Sadly, there are a lot of documented underage scams happening. While the girl may look and be over 18, she may show up with a "friend" who just wants to use bathroom and go. A few minutes later the cops are at the door. Yup, the cops are in on the scam.

If have had a lot of ladyboy fun in Angeles, but you need to be careful and think.

In Cebu, I always liked staying at Eddies Hotel, off of Mango Ave, near many of the bars. Its walking distance to Robinsons mall and less than 100 pesos taxi ride to most other hotspots. The restaurant is excellent. I stayed at the Royal Bellagio right on Burgos in Makati and never had any trouble there. Cafe Havana and Starbucks seems to be a freelancer center in the Greenbelt area. While in Angeles City, I always stay out at the Oasis. Its not right in town but during the daytime the girls really love the pool area. Good luck and have fun!

So, 'MikeNH', how did it go in the Phils?! Will you be (or have you already?) posting in the PI section?! Too bad I only saw this thread today --- too late to help with suggestions, but for future reference: The Golden Prince (NOT the Golden Peak) in Cebu, "kitty-corner" to the Ayala Mall ... and the Orange Lion in AC.
