Hi I was wondering if yall are aware of Pattaya Discovery Beach Hotel.

Rooms look pretty small but it offers ocean view and is close to the main event.

Any info like experiences or such? O and if it is lb friendly?

This looks like a high end hotel and most of them don't like bargirl's and LB's at their hotels. I don't think it's that close to the action.

Close to the action if you like soi 6 and the LB-action on soi 6/1 as the entrance is soi in the 6/1. But they have a 1000b joiner policy if I'm not wrong, unless they have changed their policy lately. Maybe they are willing to look away during low-season, but when the hotel is full of families you're not the customer they're looking for.

Your right pepsimax it is on Soi 6...my bad. A 1,000b joiner fee should tell you sometime how they feel about bring someone back to the hotel. There are to many places that are hurting right now and that have never asked for a joiner fee.

I see I just happen to come across that hotel and it had great price(but small room size) and great ocean view.

I guess I'll put a hold on this one for now, especially since it charges joiners fee.

Its exterior looks unique but I dont think it looks like a boat.

Just had a look at this hotel online and it's looks great and as the OP says it has a very nice seaview.

Makes me laugh though!! How can the hotel afford to turn away business with the hotels being half full??
Whats do these hotel chains think Pattaya is, Disneyland??

With stupid rules like that I wont even consider asking themif they wouldwave the joiner fee.
