I am partial to full English breakfasts, and I also enjoy American breakfasts. I particularly like the breakfasts served at Bay Watch on Beach Road, and Palmer's on Pattayaland 2.

How about you? Do you have any good breakfast places to share? How about good coffee? Apart from Starbucks, where can I find a respectable cup of coffee in South Pattaya?

For a really good coffee ''STARBUCKS'' is very good , sometimes for breakfast I'm going to ''AU BON PAIN''(2ndRoad)
There you can arrange your breakfast yourself !!!!!

Also on soi chayapoon, there is Canterbury tales, Dave there does a good breakfast.

To be honest, you are spoilt for choice as there are plenty of expat bars that do a good Falang breakfast

I am not a huge coffee drinker myself, but I have been imformed by those in the know that the coffee shop, no idea of its name in the area where the Tuesday/Friday market is held on Soi Buakhao does excellent drinks.  It is on the Pattaya Tai side of the open area (not on Pattaya Tai) itself if that makes sense.  Got soild wooden chairs and tables outside, easy to find.  Also the English/Chinese place more or less opposite Canterbury Tales, looking out from C T it's to your right, does a nice brekkie for under 100 Baht.

Yup!, and if he stocks some copies of 'Paultain's' book, one can go over, purchase a copy (proceeds to charity it seems ), sit down to one of those looking-good-in-the-pics breakfasts, and be entertained by 'Paultain's' long association (and great stories as in his thread here) with PTY --- sounds like a great way to wile away an afternoon.

On the subject of good breakfasts, I have just returned from eating the full English breakfast at the Pig and Whistle pub in soi 7.
If you have a big appetite, this is the place for you. It was massive! For 170 THB or just under €4 it was real value for money and will keep me going until this evening with no trouble.
The coffee is extra at 60 THB but it's served in a full sized mug and not in one of those pathetic little cups they usually serve in other places.
Service is very good too, from a full crew of Thai smiles.
Highly recommended.

I'm a late riser so haven't scoped out too many brekki joints but the Apex buffet at I think 110 baht is great value. Similar to the Lek but seems a little better. All the cofffee you can drink is included in the price.

The Pattaya Beer Garden has a really good breakfast, nice scrambled eggs, toast, bacon and sausage. I wish I was there now.

I just found out perfect breakfast and no I'm not kidding. :Angel With Star: I go to first 7/11, buy something deep frozen, ask to warm it and take it on terrace of my room in Jomtien. I then wake up my LB and we have breakfast admiring the view on Koh Lan and palms on the beach. And food is ok I must add.
