Have stayed in Flipper house soy 7 a few yrs ago,very average abt $40 australian,b/fast very average,room ok,pool on roof.No problem bringing l.b back to room,The security guy is at the front entrance,he takes note of your l.b. i/d and your room number,after u have done your thing he will call your room to ensure all is ok,so i am not much help to u with flipper lodge,however if u r taking a taxi from the airport to either of these hotels,ensure the driver knows exactly which hotel and soy as they get confused with the two hotels.
When do u hit sin city? i am there for a few weeks from march 23. Plenty of hotel reports just google in flipper.

I stayed there in November last year. Just a couple of nights. You obviously need to bargain down on the rack rate - I got 900 for a double. No probs taking people back. Some street noise if you are planning on sleeping before 3am?!, but close to the action. I would recomend booking a couple of nights and sussing out what else is about for price / quality. OK for a longer stay if you must.

oh yes, and don't forget where it is - I did when I had one too many (beer and LBs) on my first night. I think it is tip no 4 of Billy's good advice post (which I can't now find)
