I stayed there for 4 nights at one of the C block studios last week.
  • Bed definitely seemed smaller then what I'd gotten used to at all other rooms in LOS.
  • Shower was never hot and my door had a certain knack to lock properly, safe didn't work for the first day as some berk had left without resetting the code.
  • Cleaners didn't work on Sunday so I went a couple of days without fresh towels.
  • Restaurant was reasonably priced but I found it un-nerving that the staff would sit watching me eat.
  • Balcony was tiny and dominated by the Air Con unit and laundry rack.
Apart from those niggles it was a nice enough room for 1200b a night, location was quiet and was nice to have a pool. Pretty funky lighting in the room as well. Great for access to Pook Swan and Baby Boom, a minutes walk away.

despite all my niggles I'd give it 7/10

I paid about the same for April Suites in November (thanks agoda!) and that was far superior

Thanks for the info Kendo,as I'm reserved there for 35 nights on my upcoming trip. I like the location but as you stated the bed looks a bit small(and I do like my LTs :) )
so hope this isn't a problem(?).

Iceberg :)

BTW-I still have time to change to the T-208 room as it's bigger with a bigger bed,did you ever get to see this room?and if so would it be worth it(just a bit more baht)to change from the C-studio? The monthly rate can't be beat IMO and I just wish I could get April Suites for this rate as I'd stay there again in a heartbeat.

I did look at the other rooms online but didn't see them in the flesh.

Good option could D-Apartment. On soi bukhaow, nice rooms in the new wing at a reasonnable price, swimming pool on the roof, and of course LB friendly!
Not far away also, up in the soi on the left hand side of the LK Royal Suite, a new LK has just opened, LK Royal Wing; I have seen some interesting prices on the net for brand new rooms; could be interesting but a bit pricier than D-Apartment!

I think 20000 baht a month is a great price and your
getting a great location. The rooms look a lot more
homely than an average hotel room and on trip advisor
everybody says its a great place to stay and on the website
they love it if you take ladyboys back to your room.
So got to be the place to stay and also thrown in is a free
BBQ at the end of the month, ideal for the cheap Charlie brigade :)

I have stayed in room T-208 last year same size as c-block but decent size bed, worth the extra imo..theres a lot of european ex-pats who have apartments there ,so no excessive noise at night and around the pool in the day , no motorbikes on site also, paper thin walls are a problem if your a light sleeper..but fantastic place !!! they put the price up this year and i have found bigger cheaper place on soi bucket..tip the guards on the security gate on your 1 st night and you can take as many as you like in..quietly ,pook bar ladies where relentless every time i walked passed with my bf each nite ..good laff tho..meow is the manageress ..keep her sweet and if you miss the 11 am dead-line for free brekky, she very often let me off with-out paying or your can order it to your room if you like if you call them before 11..i have some photos ..i see if i can dig them out for you

Thanks for the reply DickyDirt, this is just what I wanted to here. :)
Hope I don't get to much grief from the PookSwan LBs  although knowing myself I'll probably have one from the bar staying with me(I'm such a sucker  ) ;) .

Thanks again for the reply,

Iceberg :)

BTW-Care to share the info about the "bigger, cheaper places on soi bucket" as I still have 5 months to go and any advice would be much appreciated. :)
PM me if you don't want to clog up this thread. :)

Did anyone notice if there is a gym and if it is any good?. It mentions one on their website but there are no photos.
