This is a link to a thread in Thai Anxiety which I thought is worth passing on as worthwhile education to those who might welcome it. Spend a few minutes reading through this and we will understand why tourists are beginning to give Pattaya (and Thailand) a wide berth.

Even tho most of these scams are old and people know about them, they should be bumped every so often as we can all fall foul at sometime while been on a high when on holiday.

Here is another article about them. You cannot have enough info on these rats before you hit Thailand.

BB - Thanks for that good site link. The problem is that I have just spent nearly an hour reading it and the comments of readers - and I have a busy day in front of me. (Story of my life on here
Billy. I stayed in August Suites on my last trip (Pattaya Clang) and went across the road (down towards the beach) for a haircut. The woman who did the job was the long haired lovely who works nearest the shop window. She did an OK job and I think she charged me 40 Bhat but the thing I remember about her is that her touch was so light and caressing that I was lucky not to get a hard on while I was sitting there. I think I need to organise my needing a haircut when I am back to Pattaya in December.
