Well since I eat out in Pattaya a lot, I figured I may as well do some reviews on some of the places that haven't already been spoken about. Sorry the photo of this one is a bit crap and hope the text is at leat a little bit useful to somebody
Name
Coffee Club
Type:
International casual
Location
Royal Garden Plaza 2nd Road. Before 11am, entrance only direct to Coffee Club & not via Royal Garden. They open at 8am (even though one of the signs says 7am)
Cost
About THB400 per person, but can go up from there.
Rating
4 / 5
It’s an Australian chain I think & the food reflects this. The breakfasts are good, lots of omelettes, poached eggs, a light option, various fried dishes and also some healthy ones like muesli & yoghurt. The croissants aren’t bad, but ask them not to toast them as they come out very crispy if they do.
I can recommend the omelettes and toast as a good start to the day. Occasionally nice to go there for a very late breakfast & I find it really fills me up.
Main courses range from sandwiches (excellent) to Pasta (good) and other dishes (also good). Haven’t tried the desserts yet.
The usual range of drinks, but disappointing on fruit juices (only two). They have a Chai Tea latte which is pretty good, and the normal coffee types, including Decaf. They offer Flat White, so I’m pretty sure it’s Aussie.
Only a few beers as usual, and while they offer wine, I haven’t tried any.
Service
Not bad, not great. They recognise you after a few visits, but it’s never been really warm. English levels are a bit of a challenge, but they are polite and try hard. I’ve had a couple of mistakes, but nothing major & they fix them as soon as they realise.
Love
The bread. So often, sandwiches in other places are let down by really tough or old bread. I’ve always been happy with the bread here, soft, and tasty.
Hate
Well, not much really. Sometimes they have events in the lobby of Royal Garden that get a bit loud.
Overall
Nice simple tasty food in a very convenient location. Sometimes you can really taste the quality in a restaurant (and there are a lot of bad ones out there), but I’ve always been happy here.

Only had a coffee there, so cannot comment on the food,Coffee was what you expect from one of these places, not great not bad!!.
Prefer Starbucks at the bottom of soi 13/1, a good brew of coffee and you can watch all the morning freelancers taking their customers to the short time rooms!!

Yup, agreed - I wouldn't probably go there if it was just for a coffee. What time does the Starbucks on 13/1 open do you know? All the others are after 8am & I need be at work by then which kind of sucks. Maybe I should skip it & just watch the freelancers! Cheers.
