Just a quick question. Can any BM tell me if LBs are allowed in top class restaurants in Pattaya?
I know they're allowed in standard restaurants, but not sure about the better ones.I'd like to take an LB to one of these.
Cheers.

Of course. why not? Tell her in advance though and tell her it's an opportunity to dress really smart.
One thing though - not all but many many Thai LBs and GGs in Pattaya often feel really uncomfortable in posh places and don't enjoy the food or the experience. So make sure to ask her if she'd like it first. Chances are, she'd actually be happier at a food stall!

This is exactly the tread I was looking for but was hoping for some more first hand experiences.
I love going to really nice foodie places and don't mind shelling out serious baht for a date to do it. It would be really maddening though to be refused service after arranging everything and getting dressed nicely.
I would be pissed that I didn't get dinner but even more pissed at them being rude to her. I would also be more than a little embarrased with her if I put her in a situation like that.

If anyones after somewhere nice in Bangkok, I can recommend Nui's jazz bar and resaraunt. Very classy especially upstairs, great italian food, and quite reasonably priced for the quality.
