They are friendly, take care for you and look also very closely for the ID cards.

I stayed there this past Oct. and returning in April. The rooms are nice and have walk-in showers which I prefer.
If you book there, request a room with a balcony over looking Soi 6.
Also they have a back door in case your shy about bringing back an lb or two..

I second the positive comments made here about the Queen Vic. The rooms are quite nice. I was there six days ago.
Definitely ladyboy friendly and from the early afternoon on, there are many ladyboys around and about on Soi 6. I even saw Soi 6 Bee at the back door to the Full Moon Bar.
Venues include the Full Moon Bar, So What, Pook, etc.
The after-midnight back door entrance was not at all inconvenient. Good food in the restaurant.
They even have draught Tetley's ale!
Here are some photos...this room was 800 baht per night.

Safe is included in the price. The room door is not a solid core door. There is room for two or three in the shower.
I live in Bangkok, so I just telephone them the day before. That approach won't work in "high season" though. They have a website; you can request a reservation there.
The Room was 219. Rooms 217, 220, and and 221 all face to Soi 6 so are likely to be noisy. Room 218 is smaller and less expensive. There is no lift, so I wasn't interested in a room on the upper floors.
