Hi all,

Just wondering if anyone has stayed at the Baywalk Residence which is on Pattaya Beach Road near Soi 13/4 and whether it is LB friendly, fees etc.

Cheers

Chris

Chris, a bit of a late reply but I just stayed there a month ago and I can say it is a great hotel in a great location, no problems at all, no joiner fees, for some reason reception never even checked girls IDs but that was just me, other people were having their girls IDs checked but maybe they wanted to. LB friendly, no problem. I would stay there again, it was comfortable and off beach road about 20 meters. Rooms were clean and new. No real complaints.

No joiner fees, I brought 2 girls back several times, just walked right through reception. I also checked before I booked, I read most of the hotel reviews and all comments said no joiner fees.

I stayed there for 1 night about 18 months ago, my room looked nothing like the one in the pic ,it was uncomfortable and not very clean, the place was pretty 2nd rate for the price. The Breakfast was appalling and I pride myself on eating any old crap, I was booked via Asia Rooms for 7 nights , I left after 1 night and found alternate lodgings for the same money 10 times better.
The only upside was the honesty of the cleaning staff, I left 800bht by mistake in drawer and lady came running after me to give me back, I gave her 500bht just for her honesty, pity the rest of the hotel didnt live upto her great standards, maybe I was unlucky in what room they gave me but the breakfast was truly shite.

Absolutely, I wore that pleather couch out. it has been recently renovated, this is a pic from their website, this is a deluxe room and my room looked exact, I guess we all have different experiences, mine was great, I spoke with a couple other people there and they were satisfied as well.

The house staff was great and very kind, could of stole plenty of change I left laying around, they didnt.

I dont know about the breakfast, from my experience hotel breakfast is bottom of the barrel to begin with.

Asshound, sounds like you stayed there before the renovations, they were just completed summer/fall 2010.

Bob B, I loved the place they treated me well, houskeeping was great. I walked to WS almost everyday so about 20 trips to and from in total at about 5-10 minute walk max. Your right off Beach Rd. next door to Frasier Resort. The pool was clean and private, and if you didnt want to share with other guests, there was a private jacuzzi style section at the end, no problems with pool either. The hotel was quiet at night even during January. You can hear music from bars below and on Beach road from about 6pm to 2am but that was all. Lobby has several computers with internet access. Wifi in room worked fine. I really have no complaints.

BTW The new Emma pics from June 21 topic today was at Baywalk.
