Gotta say I like you choice, Mik.
If I hadn't already gotten reservations at Dynasty Grande, I'd take a serious look at this place. I really like the Deluxe studio because it's got a nice kitchen AND what looks to be a washing machine right there. I'm paying about $67 US for my place but for another $5 per day, looks like you're getting quite a bit more....
Give us a report and some photos when you get back.... I plan to get some of the Dynasty Grande in the same way....

I'm pretty sure the Pattaya Amaris have a joiner policy, but I've scanned the FAQs on the Amari Sukhumvit and all it states is that there is a maximum occupancy of 3 people per apartment. It's on Soi 4, so they can hardly be unaware of local 'activities' - no doubt an email would clear things up. The price quoted looks like quite a deal for size of room and facilities. One to note for the future.

stayed at the amari orchid before, about 8 years ago, and back then their joiner fee was 700 baht, so god knows what it will be now, i am guessing 1000+
saying this, as obviously part of the amari group, nice hotels, but to hell with paying a joiner fee when you have already paid for the room, joiner fees really piss me off

Amari Residences are guest friendly. Yes it's one of the best deals at the moment. 40 sqm rooms with washer and dryer.
