http://www.hotelthai...ngkok/heaven-4/ located on Soi 4, I've booked four nights there at the start of May,

never been there, but know it's LB friendly and it's run by a gay fella.

My three choices would be Majestic Suites http://www.majesticsuites.com/ , Dawin Hotel http://www.thedawin.com/ , or Aspen Suites http://www.aspenbangkok.com/ .

All are close to the action and are LB friendly. Good Luck- Swedeman

Here's a place for checking out guest-friendly BKK hotels, arranged by neighborhood. These folks will even email the hotels with any specific questions you might have ("can I bring in 2 guests at once?") and send you the hotel's reply.

Keep in mind that "guest friendly" may not always mean "ladyboy friendly". It is always best to call the hotel directly yourself and ask them if you can bring ladyboys back to the room. Always take the name of the person you speak with, and if possible speak with the manager on duty. This will eliminate any embarrassing situation once you arrive with your sexy LB in arm back to the loom.

Absolutely right. I had these folks specifically ask of the three hotels I was considering were LB-friendly. In this case, all three said yes. But I know of hotels that are not.

As a bit of advice do not rely on second hand information from a third party. Call the hotel yourself and ask if they are LB friendly. You may find when you show up that they are not.
It doesn't take much to pick up the phone and speak to the manager on duty yourself. I would just for peace of mind. -Swedeman

You're right, Swedeman, but this service actually emails you the correspondence from the hotel, so you get the actual response to your question from the hotel guest services manager, including the person's name. This is nice, because when I arrived in Bangkok at my hotel I had a printout with the guest services manager's name, title, phone number and his exact answer to my question. That way, if anyone started to give me a problem, I would just hand them the email correspondence. It would be harder for a desk clerk to deny the email than my word that I spoke to someone at the hotel...at least, I think so.

Cant actually recall any hotel in Nana area that isn't ladyboy friendly. But best for me is Dynasty Grande soi 6. Same chain as Dawin but bigger rooms, has its own booking reservation website which is cheaper than third parties like Agoda and often has promotions. City chic soi 13 is another, 10 min stroll from Nana, same price range, real nice rooms, although smaller, stayed there alot recently, very efficient and friendly staff recommend it although it has a fair quota of, "Normal Tourists," if your shy about your company. Not stayed at Heaven@4 but I hear that many of the rooms don't have any windows which kinda puts me off a bit.

I agree with lis2. Dynasty Inn Grande would be my choice every time.

Just round the corner from the action yet nice and quiet. Pleasant staff, no problems with visitors including LB. Not budget/backpacker prices, but fantastic value for what you get. The rooms are large and immaculate. The ground floor bar has a nice terrace to watch the world go by. You can't go wrong!

I concur with comments on Dynasty Inn Grande - booked my third stay here the other week, bit of a blow out on Grande Deluxe Suite (2680THB per night) to end my holiday in comfort. The rather less expensive deluxe rooms are very good too.

Lovely 'no worries' staff, great location, not bad gym and very nice swimming pool, decent rooms and free internet (wired in room, wifi downstairs, although hopefully wifi in rooms by now).

LB friendly, no joiner fee with 1 guest, although 500THB fee for each additional guest (i.e. 3-somes +).

Smurf, hope you enjoy your pick, and do report back on experience. Our paths may well cross at some point in April too.....

I have just booked a couple of nights at the Majestic Grand Hotel on Sukumvit Rd near the Corner of Soi Nana.
Does anyone know if they are LB friendly ?

Majestic Grand has same policy as Majestic Suites owned by the same company, stayed there numerous times np with taking ladyboys back , word of warning though register them at the front desk when you go in or they wont get any breakfast.
Another decent place is Aspen Suites just down the same Soi but about £15 cheaper with bigger rooms or for a splash Landmark on Sukhumvit nr Nana Skytrain for about 3000bht, big advantage with Landmark has top quality Gym part of UK Fitness 1st chain which you can use free if you stay there

Good call on the Dawin. I have stayed there and would highly recommend it, as well.

Cheers

Same. Stayed at the Dawin on my last 5 trips, staff are exellent towards LB's.
Having said that, I've booked Pharchara Suites for my next trip as they were running a special and were the same price as the Dawin.
I'm assuming (hoping) its LB friendly.
