http://www.hotelthai...ngkok/heaven-4/ located on Soi 4, I've booked four nights there at the start of May,
never been there, but know it's LB friendly and it's run by a gay fella.

My three choices would be Majestic Suites http://www.majesticsuites.com/ , Dawin Hotel http://www.thedawin.com/ , or Aspen Suites http://www.aspenbangkok.com/ .
All are close to the action and are LB friendly. Good Luck- Swedeman

Keep in mind that "guest friendly" may not always mean "ladyboy friendly". It is always best to call the hotel directly yourself and ask them if you can bring ladyboys back to the room. Always take the name of the person you speak with, and if possible speak with the manager on duty. This will eliminate any embarrassing situation once you arrive with your sexy LB in arm back to the loom.

Absolutely right. I had these folks specifically ask of the three hotels I was considering were LB-friendly. In this case, all three said yes. But I know of hotels that are not.

As a bit of advice do not rely on second hand information from a third party. Call the hotel yourself and ask if they are LB friendly. You may find when you show up that they are not.
It doesn't take much to pick up the phone and speak to the manager on duty yourself. I would just for peace of mind. -Swedeman

You're right, Swedeman, but this service actually emails you the correspondence from the hotel, so you get the actual response to your question from the hotel guest services manager, including the person's name. This is nice, because when I arrived in Bangkok at my hotel I had a printout with the guest services manager's name, title, phone number and his exact answer to my question. That way, if anyone started to give me a problem, I would just hand them the email correspondence. It would be harder for a desk clerk to deny the email than my word that I spoke to someone at the hotel...at least, I think so.

Just round the corner from the action yet nice and quiet. Pleasant staff, no problems with visitors including LB. Not budget/backpacker prices, but fantastic value for what you get. The rooms are large and immaculate. The ground floor bar has a nice terrace to watch the world go by. You can't go wrong!

Lovely 'no worries' staff, great location, not bad gym and very nice swimming pool, decent rooms and free internet (wired in room, wifi downstairs, although hopefully wifi in rooms by now).
LB friendly, no joiner fee with 1 guest, although 500THB fee for each additional guest (i.e. 3-somes +).

Smurf, hope you enjoy your pick, and do report back on experience. Our paths may well cross at some point in April too.....

Another decent place is Aspen Suites just down the same Soi but about £15 cheaper with bigger rooms or for a splash Landmark on Sukhumvit nr Nana Skytrain for about 3000bht, big advantage with Landmark has top quality Gym part of UK Fitness 1st chain which you can use free if you stay there

Good call on the Dawin. I have stayed there and would highly recommend it, as well.
Cheers

Having said that, I've booked Pharchara Suites for my next trip as they were running a special and were the same price as the Dawin.
I'm assuming (hoping) its LB friendly.
