PS: I think I posted this in the wrong place - this should be the right one ...

Has anyone stayed at the Baan Sila Hotel in Soi 11 close to Beach Rd. I think about booking it for a month in late may/early june, but want to know more than what they tell me - and what they present on their website, thanks?

Cleaning/standard/any building site next door/LB-friendly etc.

Stayed there one night. It's a nice little hotel. Very low key, good price. Clean. Friendly. I'm a noise nut and the halls are long tile corridors, you hear all the click clack and laughing of guests loudly. So I moved on to another place but if a little noise doesn't bother you it would be good place to stay. There's a pool on the property or next door that was nice. Really close to beach rd, great location near La Bamba/Stringfellows etc. I wouldn't consider it a high end place but very nice budget option

Thanks for the info, Buddy - sounds like the place I hoped it was, after all ;-) And yeah, it's a great place for the lb action in the clubs and on Beach Rd., no doubt about that!
