As a Pattaya veteran (I lived in BKK for 9 years before moving to China; so far only GG's but maybe I'll try a LB next trip) I recommend the following hotels with back doors:

Skytop North Pattaya (front door closes after 2AM)
Target Regency on Soi Buakow
Killkenny Soi LK Metro
Stags Head Soi LK Metro

Both Soi LK Metro GH's have in-room safes while the Target GH has a safe
at reception. (they also have all day half price drink specials) These 3 hotels are a short walk to Pook's LB Bar.
I like to stay in the Soi Buakow/Soi Diana Area because I like open air beerbars and prices are cheaper than Walking Street/Beach Road.

I also like Diana Dragon on Soi Diana but they will take the lady's ID; one of the receptionists is an LB along with Stags Head lol)

Can i ask why hotel must have back door? In case of fire?

Also canterbury tales, and also have just left patts and the Banana cafe in soi Lengkee is a great place to stay with side door key card entry at night next to bar not that i give two F--ks who see me but the rooms there are good 500baht a night big room with balconey gets the sun all day that side and power shower with large rain shower head. and in loom safe stayed here for 18 nights after 10 nights some where else but the guy will do you a monthly rate for 11990baht.... think hes trying to sell the place but no hassle here and room cleaned every day... Liquid Lounge,soi buakow,has a nice little key carded side enrty which is very private,for guests only.

Ugly never enters my room or vocabulary,as they always staying with you,thats what good mates are for.
Another good thing about the side entry is they dont need the keycard to exit,so once out the room door bye bye.

All my shame i normally leave in there arsehole.
