I know quite a few BM's Have stayed at liquid lounge, big rooms and reasonable rates, but i have read on pattaya addicts that on Thursday it was a building site, the glass has gone and walls were being built, the summation was that it will reopen as Agogo bar!!

I am not sure if the upstairs accommodation is affected or not, those planning to stay there in the coming weeks should get in contact asap, just to check all is well.

What glass ???

Yes JCS apparantly the same guys who bought and sold Club Blue across the road now have LL and I believe the upstairs rooms (or some of them) are going to be short time rooms.

Now where am I going to stay ????? The LL suite was a classic.

Cheers DK

Maybe it was a glass table!!! Stop being so pedantic,i was just copying from an addicts post and didn't read it properly :D

Plenty of other good guesthouses in that area,i am sure you will find another shag palace...

You must be due over again fairly soon as well?

I stayed next door at the Stag's Head and woke up everyday to the complete renovation of Liquid Lounge. They are were in fact closing up the open bar entrances to create an enclosed bar and they were also renovating the rooms from what the staff at SH said. I saw work going on on the balconies as well. Not sure how long this will be going on, but when I left the bar was almost completely enclosed.

I have stayed at the Liquid Lounge in the past, and have always considered it a good bargain for a clean, spacious room for my play times in Pattaya. The side entrance was an added benefit. I hope when the dust settles, that portion of the property will still operate as a guest house. I doubt that they can raise the rates much, due to competition in the LK Metro area. Any idea when the construction is anticipated to be completed?

I walked past about 30 mins ago specifically to have a look, the building works are in full swing but look around a week away from completion as there seems to be a grand re opening end of this month, it will be agogo bar called Suger Suger or something equally as chinzy, looks like a few quid has been invested on it.
The rooms above appeared to be operating as normal but I certainly wouldnt fancy trying to lie in after a heavy night with the Stihl Saw going all day.
One thing I will investigate is how residents now get in and out as the side door appears to have been bricked up unless there is a new door round the back.
You wouldnt fancy having to walk through agogo to get to bed everyday so how the lodging business will proceed I dont know.

Thanks for the update. As you've suggested, please let us know more, once you know about the getting in & out of the rooms procedure.

+1 for your efforts
