A day or two after uncovered BJ from beach road LB. I was contentedly taking my late morning shower, when I was rather supprised and shocked to notice that the end of my instrument had turned an alarming reddy/purple colour aglow with whitish spots. As I was not aware of any STDs with these symtoms, confusion as well as panic also set in. I pondered uncomfortably for a few minutes with thoghts of; is this the end of my holiday pleasures? and if any girl sees this ST is likely to be very very short. Etc

Following this brief comtemplation I next scurried hotfoot to the nearby internet cafe for further online information.

As it turned out regular application of an anti fungul cream from the pharmacy calmed these symtoms down fairly quickly.

It sems to me that from this and an earliar experience of something else, that if I catch anything in Patts its likely to be the state of the art version as nasty little micro organisms are constantly evolving in an ideal environment. However my immune system subsequently kicked in and all's well that ends well, to quote the immortal bard.

I just thought I'd share that.

had same kind of problem a few years ago - very disturbing indeed - think it can happen due to very hot
and humid conditions and too much alcohol as well - plays havoc with sugar levels etc. the cream is
good though !

nothing to do with condom at all - that is why it is so scary -you are doing it by the book and this happens !!

it is to do with heat / humidity and alcohol mostly !!!!

happened to me in sri lanka and i wasn't doing anything there !

I either get it during hot and humid weather or after a long course of antibiotics. The only long term prevention is to get circumcised but that is a bit drastic. It is sometimes called balanitis.

BMs simple vinegar is great at killing Tinea / toe rot, so I would give this a try as well. I have even used it to kill that Black fungus that you see on the interior walls of houses.

Was the cream "Quadriderm"?

I bought a tube in Bangers on the assumption that it is better to have something and not need it,than to need something and not have it.

Quadriderm in anti-inflammatory,anti-bacterial and anti-fungal. Its over the counter in Thailand, but scripted in the West.

Quadriderm is excellent, though you can get away with Canestan. Make sure that the cream isn't past it's expiry date as it can make matters worse, as I found out.

I was given Daktacort by Pharmacist, needs to be kept in fridge, contains anti fungul and anti inflamatory, works fine. I expect other preperations are likely to work as well. Talk to pharmacist. Good luck.

Using antibiotics for more than 7 days can bring the onset of thrush, but increase in beer will do the same. You can get it in your mouth also.
Go to any chemist and ask them for Diflucan (Trade name for fluconazole). You can get accross the counter

They come in 250mg single capsule box . . . . buy 2 of them, take 1 then another 7 days later.
Never fails and so beats the cream . . . . symptoms gone within 48hrs!

Self diagnosis and medication is probably not the best advice to BMs...I would get it checked by someone with medical qualifications.

Also worth noting that some antifungal treatments weaken latex, so you may end up with something a lot worse if a condom fails.
