To answer your question, yes there is an advanced section. Typically, the rules in the past was to make 50 worthwhile posts that had actual content. These were posts that were beyond "me too" or "she's hot". However, there have been some heroes on this forum sharing photos and information with non-members, so the rules have been a little more stringent. Not sure how the current moderators approve someone now, but I'm sure you have to prove you have actually been to LOS by posting pictures or a trip report.

I think it's great we have this tread that tells people how to resize their pictures, unfortunately we still have board members uploading enormous pictures sizes that take ages to download. Isn't there a way to put a size limit on the pictures uploaded to this forum? Maybe that will stop this behavior, because obviously the people doing this aren't reading this thread.

There is nothing more annoying than waiting ages to see pictures of someone's trip report, then finding out they were only pictures of his hotel room. Or worse yet, a POV shot of his hairy gut and penis.

I think this thread should be pinned. It is really annoying when some guys just plug their camera into their computer and start uploading photos on this board. Do we really need to see a 2000 x 2000 picture? I got the fastest internet service available in my country, and a large pic heavy thread can still make the scroll bar slow down. I find 800 x 600 to be the perfect size on this forum.

I use photoshop to resize my pics. It is only a couple mouse clicks per picture. It does the math, finding the right ratio for you, and it optimizes the picture quality when shrinking or enlarging pics.
