Site incredibly slow

Recommended Posts

I wonder if other BMs are finding the same: for the last couple of weeks, sometimes I can't get on to LBP, and, if I do manage it, it is difficult to navigate around the pages.

I notice on Addicts that some people have been advised to look on LBP for advice, and come back saying they can't access it.

I've tried using a different browser, but that doesn't solve the problem.

Thoughts/comments (of the useful variety), please?

I’m seeing the same thing here in the UK. It seems to be related to the new Online Safety Act (OSA) rather than the forum itself. Since that came in, access has been intermittent and pages can be very slow or fail to load at all.

For UK users at least, using a VPN resolves the problem straight away – once connected via a non-UK location, the forum loads and navigates normally. So it doesn’t appear to be a browser issue.

Thanks.

Although I generally live in the UK, I'm currently accessing from Pattaya (and have been all the time I've had the problem).

I can't access the forum on my phone unless I use my own wifi connection at home.

Using the PC or laptop at home is fine.

In last week, I couldn’t access the site w my iPad via my hotel WiFi (in Pattaya), but then when I used an iPhone connection w my Thai phone to the iPad, it came up no problem. BTW, my iPad is my common mode to get on the site for T-Land and US, and haven’t had the problem before…
